Guess Me: how well do you know your person?
In Guess Me you predict how your partner would answer five small questions, such as their perfect Sunday or a plane seat. They answer the same five about themselves, and the reveal shows how many you knew. Only right guesses count, and misses become questions for tonight.

How is a round played?
A round uses a set of five questions, each with four options:
Because the reveal needs the partner's answers, the first phone only ever sees the result after the reply link comes back. That wait is part of the game.
- You guess how your partner would answer each of the five.
- Twolight locks your guesses and creates a link.
- You send the link. Your partner answers the same items about themselves.
- Their phone reveals the result, for example You knew 3 of 5, and sends a reply link.
- You open the reply and see the same reveal.
What does a real item look like?
Take Perfect Sunday. You see My perfect Sunday starts with... and four options: coffee in bed, a long walk, sleeping in, plans with friends. You pick the one you think your partner would pick. Your partner sees the same item phrased for themselves and picks their own answer.
Other items ask about a dream trip (the beach, the mountains, a big city, a road trip), what someone would rather skip, a morning drink, how a person recharges or what they do with the alarm.
What do the questions look like?
The topics are small and a little funny: Pizza night, Alarm clock, Plane seat, Childhood treat, Party spot. The bank holds 300 items in 60 sets of five, and a fresh set comes up each week. Every item is shown in two phrasings, one for the guesser and one for the person answering about themselves.
Why only right guesses count
The reveal shows a count of what you knew and turns the rest into prompts, such as 2 new things to ask about tonight. A guess that missed is information, not a failure. Twolight never shows a compatibility percentage or a mismatch score.
When is a good time to play?
A round takes about as long as it takes to read five short questions, so it fits almost anywhere:
- At the start of a date night, as a warm-up.
- When you are apart and want a reason to message each other that is not logistics.
- In the first months, when guessing is half the fun.
- After a quiet week, when you realize you have not asked each other anything in days.
What is the Guess challenge card?
After a round you can make a 9:16 story or a 1:1 post card that reads We know each other: 3 of 5, with the topics (never the answers), your names or initials and a QR code. A friend who scans it can play the same set about their own partner.

How do I get more out of the reveal?
Do not discuss your picks before the reveal. The result is more interesting when both of you were honest. Then read the misses as prompts. If you guessed that your partner wants plans with friends on a perfect Sunday and they chose sleeping in, you just learned something to use this weekend.
If none of the four options fits, pick the closest and say so out loud afterward. The options are a nudge, not a test.
How is it different from a compatibility quiz?
A compatibility quiz ends with a number for the relationship. Guess Me counts only what you got right, never what you got wrong, and never produces a percentage. The challenge card invites friends to play the same set about their own partners, but Twolight has no server, so there are no leaderboards.
Free and Plus
Free includes one round a day. Plus offers unlimited rounds and themed sets. The first three guesses are part of setup, so you can play before your partner has the app.
What are the limits?
Your partner needs Twolight to answer on their own phone, and the round moves by links you send. A round is five items, so it samples a few small preferences and says little about bigger ones. Use it as a doorway to a conversation, not as a measure.
Frequently asked questions
Does my partner need Twolight to play?
Yes, to answer on their own phone. They open your link in Twolight. You can also play on one phone with Answer together.
Do shared cards reveal our answers?
No. The card shows a score, topics, and the names or initials you chose, never answers.
How often do new sets appear?
A fresh set rotates in each week, and you can replay sets you have not played yet.
Can friends join the challenge?
A friend can scan the card's QR code, play the same set about their partner and send you their score.
Is there a compatibility score?
No. Twolight shows how many of five you knew and turns the rest into things to ask about tonight. It never produces a mismatch percentage.
Can I play before my partner installs the app?
Yes. Your first three guesses are part of setup, and you can send the link when you are ready.
