Twolight is a couples ritual app built to keep what you write on your phone. It has no sign-up and no server of its own. This page explains what the app stores, what leaves your phone when you choose to share, which permissions it uses and how purchases work.
No account, no server
The developer of Twolight is responsible for this policy. Twolight has no sign-up and no server of its own. We do not collect your name, email, answers, notes or contacts.
What stays on your phone
Your profile (first names, stage, ritual time, optional anniversary and time zone), answers, Guess Me rounds, notes, special dates and settings are stored only on your device, protected by iOS Data Protection encryption.
An encrypted iPhone backup you create (iCloud or computer) may include this data. Apple handles those backups.
What leaves your phone
Only what you choose to send. When you share a Guess Me round, an answer, a note or a card, the content travels inside the link or image you send through the iOS share sheet, using the app you pick, for example Messages. The link data sits after the # sign, which browsers and iOS do not send to any web server.
Anyone you forward a link to can open it, so send links only to your partner. Public challenge cards contain only initials or first names you chose, a score and a question set number, never answers.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple. To check your subscription status, the app uses a third-party billing service, which receives an anonymous app user ID and your App Store purchase history and keeps them under its own policy. It does not receive your name, answers or contacts.
Usage statistics
If Anonymous usage stats is on, the app keeps a short list of anonymous events, for example paywall viewed, on your phone only. It is part of your data export and is erased with Delete all data. Nothing is sent to us. No advertising, no tracking, no IDFA.
Permissions
Notifications: only for your reminders, scheduled on the device. Photos (add only): only when you tap Save image. Clipboard: read only when you tap Paste link. Twolight never uses your location, microphone, camera or contacts.
Your choices and children
Data stays on your phone until you remove it. Export your data from Settings, then Privacy and data. Delete all data erases everything on this phone immediately. Cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings. Twolight is meant for people 13 and older and is not directed at children.

Your choices, deletion and contact
- Data that stays on your iPhone is removed when you delete the app. iCloud copies, if the app uses iCloud, can be removed in Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage.
- You can withdraw a permission (camera, photos, location, notifications, microphone) at any time in iPhone Settings › the app name.
- To ask what data we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, email support@dziby.com. We answer within 30 days.
- The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
- If this policy changes, we update this page and the date below before the change takes effect.
